Car Rental Agadir Winter – 18°C in January, Best Rates of the Year
Winter is Agadir's secret season: while Europe shivers, the Souss capital enjoys 18–22°C during the day, clear blue skies and half-empty hotels. It's also the season for almond blossom in the Anti-Atlas (January–February), powerful surf swells at Anchor Point, and the most attractive hire car rates of the year.
At BERKARS, our winter rates are our most competitive. The fleet is available, the roads are clear (except above 2,000 m where snow can close mountain passes), and tourist sites are accessible without the summer crowds. The perfect combination for genuinely discovering the region.

Frequently asked questions
Q.Is Agadir really 18–22°C in winter?
Yes, Agadir has an exceptional microclimate thanks to its coastal position. In January, daytime temperatures range from 18 to 22°C. Nights can be cool (12–15°C) — a light jumper is enough.
Q.Can we cross the Atlas mountains by car in winter?
The Col du Tichka (2,260 m) can be closed or require snow chains in icy conditions. The Tizi n'Test (2,092 m) is even more exposed. We recommend an SUV in winter for these routes, and checking weather conditions before departure.
Q.Are there special discounts in winter?
Our winter rates (November–March, excluding Christmas and school holidays) are naturally lower. Contact us for precise rates for your dates.
